Nerd, Rebel, thinker, voice of reasoning in a storm...

I am from the US, but by no means that i hold the attitude that most from the US have when traveling abroad, its not my first time being abroad either. I traveled in the Navy to Thailand,Bahrain,Dubai, and Turkey. My main interest is cyber-security and i mainly deal with wireless, Internet Of Things, and Social Engineering; later down the road I will also be adding Bluetooth and Radio.

I also love building things and taking things apart(if its a good puzzle or new game you can count me in on learning it). I embrace new challenges and it honestly makes my day when i am allowed to think outside of the box and MacGyver something on the spot.

I also love food, you probably wouldn't guess it from first look, but if there is one thing i am most excited for on my back trip around the world is the food. Another thing that I do enjoy is seeing human interaction from different places, the subtle nuisances of how people carry themselves, or the differences that they use to express communication.

I am on couchsurfing because while there a places that i have read and seen in books, the real experiences i want from back trip around the world is the interaction from people that actual live in the countries i visit. these are the experiences that for me will stay with me way longer than a photo at a someplace anyone can visit. I want to enjoy good food, a good story, and most importantly actual experience a country.

Teach and share:
I love to help people understand technology, and i am by no means the worlds best musician but i am always glad to share what i know with other if they want to learn guitar.

Learn:
as it goes with teaching guitar i am always grateful for help in learning a new technique or something can help my progress. I always love to learn about new cultures and new ideas.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I want to make my host feel like that there places is safe if they offer the olive branch of trust and allow me to stay with them. I wont to make my stay remembered by a good story by both me and the host, not by me leaving a mess or a bad memory. I am traveling with two bags, and one will always be with me so the only thing that would be on the couch where i sleep is my clothes bag. I have no problem in covering a drink or two or a dinner for a host, as long as it is reasonable.
