Before I met my girlfriend, I had some very nice experiences on couchsurfing.

Now, I'm a new dad. I work full time in the family company with my brother and I have less time to spend to travel since few years.

I gave to Marie-Christine (my girlfriend) for Christmas 2014 flights tickets to Montego Bay, Jamaica. It will be our first travel outside of Canada for us. I want to show her how couchsurfing is nice.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like travelling when I can meet people from the place.

I tried CS for the first time in Ulaanbaatar (Mongolia) in september 2009. It's very nice, it's almost as confortable as our own house. People are really nice and care about our experience in their city.

Interests

Camping, skiing, snowboarding, horse riding, sky diving, biking, hiking... and much more thing in "ing". I don't have one important activity that I want to do always. I like to try to get new sensations.

Like a good engineer, I really like to create and built by my own hand. I made furniture, I weld, I paint, I cook, etc.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like many kind of music... from the rock, to the rap, through the western. What is important for me is not the music, it is the song. So no, I do not like traditional western. I like the songs from funny singer that have the rythm of a western. The Frères Goyette have made many of that kind of song. (This is one of those songs in english, I don't know why but it's pretty difficult to understand what they want to say.)

Teach, Learn, Share

I like to teach to people mechanical engineering but I think that most people don't care about this. When we are sleeping under the stars camping the people are a more interested in my littles knowledges of astronomy.

I'm curious, I'd like to learn about every things : the history, the politics, the society, the arts, the naturals sciences... and after all of this, understand that human are so far away to understand the univers, the atoms and the human brain.
