About Me
Currently living in Sao Paulo, Brazil, working with films, mainly documentaries. And dealing with a lot of arts, music and dance.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It is always fascinating to meet people with a shared feeling of equality so we can exchange different thoughts, beliefs, ideas, drawings, recipes...
Interests
I love people and art. I do drawings while I am travelling, and ceramic sculptures at home.
I deal a lot with contemporary dance and sometimes compose music for the pieces. I dance easily.
Also I am deeply interested in natural environments, plants, animals, natural sounds, camping, trekking, bonfire and so on.
I used to practice ashtanga yoga. Now I am studying NihonGo (japanese) and starting with the shakuhachi flute.
Music, Movies, and Books
I like all sorts of different music, specially local and alive! Love tradicional, ethnic, chant. I listen to a lot of classical and contemporary music, but also experimental, electronics, electroacoustic, and in the end Rock returns.
I make documentaries and have seen a lot of good ones. About movies, I love those from the directors Andrei Tarkovsky, Apichatpong Weerasethakul, Yasujiro Ozu, and Eduardo Coutinho (a brazilian master documentary maker).
I read to philosophy and romances as well. Current favorites are Vilém Flusser and Hermann Hesse. Beginning to like a lot anthropology books, but currently I am reading Haruki Murakami.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I can't specify, I like all sorts of wind in my face, like singing in the rain! My first time flying was in a glider.
Teach, Learn, Share
Cultural aspects, political alternatives, wellbeing practices, emotive thoughts, storytelling...
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can offer a nice talk and also a nice silence, I am a good listener. Maybe we can do some yoga or dance with the nature as a healing connection.
