About Me

"i am selfish, private, and easily bored. will this be a problem..?"
okaaay, that is Neil Gaiman, not me.

to recap my character within the confines of an arbitrary word limit seems pretentious and so does me pointing it out. thus i am going to stick rambling until i am running out of things to state. a8 soo where do i begin...

well, i am indonesian guy all the way. i appreciate different landscapes but if it doesnt come with much saltwater or a handful of trees i aint so into it. i am an intrepid explorer and up to experience wonderful things each day. but, i wouldnt say i am adventurous, but i have my eye for doing something new and learning from it. as a typical arian fellow, sarcasm is my default, and i often come across as being a bit cold upon first chat. but i have been told that there is underlying warmth and sincerity to all of my actions and words.

the fun-loving side of me loves silly jokes and puns. busting out my old guitar to play hotel california by the eagles. and buddy stopping by spur-of-the-moment who i can convince to get a couple shot of cheap tequilas and puke our lungs together afterward. yeap, it's gross. tell me bout it. my best friends would describe me as someone who is inane, outgoing, witty, and complex in some parts. in a nutshell, i am extremellly independent but i am having a good time being around with others, joking around while discussing ideas and views.

since my upbringing in a close family (albeit the fact we are scattered throughout the world), i have always valued relationship. i appreciate heart to heart connections with genuine people. i try to surround myself the one who accept me for who i am. i definitely aint gonna bend over backwards to make u like me. lying is pointless and i dont respect people who do it. it is easy. being truthful all the time is difficult and i pride myself on being real.

in addition, my life agenda mixed with business trips, diving and some shitty serious meetings. for sure, i am always living life to the fullest and proud of my accomplisments, like there aint anything or anyone that is holding me back. my dreams brought me to several continents. lived and embraced local cultures. africa changed my life and i am antsy to get back to exploring when time will permit.

in short, i am an agnostic with degrees in business administration studies, a workaholic in order to pay my billls, a wanderlust who loves sunrise and moonlight, and frankly dear, it's only fair of me to inform u, in case if u have diabetic, that i am sweet, also i have nuts in case u have allergic. so, make ur call!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

my life is a journey from innocence to experience and i am constantly in motion. working in the office keeps me busy on a weekly basis. my main job involves managing people at wonderful institution. with a handful of interesting business development, networking, and so forth alongside the day to day operations. it is very desky and analytical at some point, thus any opportunity to move, explore beyond the lines is always welcomed. most of my colleagues are utterly crazy, and i love it. afterhour, u can find me in the driving-range nearby or cooking a new recipe in my sanctuary.

i live my life with no remorse. at some point in my life I finally understand that life is all about choices. every single moment has a purpose and every single setbacks has its lesson as well. failure is essential for personal expansion. it takes me to the person as my self would be proud of. i am very dedicated to everything i do and very passionate about everything i believe in. and i have an unrealistic expectation. but, then again.. who doesnt? i embrace the total dork in me, because life is too short to be cool. even Milan Kundera once said, “..there is no perfection only life..” . and i fall in the category of "those lunatic people who try to save the world". as of now i aint sure "how" or "from what" i will be saving the world, yet as soon as i figure out, i will do something actionable. because i believe that God plays this enormous role in my life, and i believe that is my obligation to give back and to follow the rules that were set.

Interests

food - everything is healthy. i crave all sorts of vegetables and condemn all people who say they detest vegetables as for they are tasteless and so forth. i assume these people just dont have any idea much about cooking nor seasoning. there must be a perfect reason to say "no" for sashimi. or live oyster. raw octopus is always a good choice.

Music, Movies, and Books

when it comes to music i pretty much listen to everything. my taste is eclectic. anything nostalgic or a bit melancholy. my fave genres are alternative, accoustic, and javanese gamelan. i personally think music is epic in its ability to capture a feeling, memory, or elicit how one felt during a certain point of time. watching tv is underrated. except for walking dead series.

and i am not much a movie buff. i have ridiculous amount of books. it is kind of nerd anyhow, i understand. hahaha. and the worst part is. i won medal for the fastest book reader in high school. blame on my parent, i suppose :-) they were the one who responsible for always encourage me to read.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
