About Me

I'm a very laidback guy with a penchant for meeting new people and trying new things. My goal in life is to have no goals: instead, I try to enjoy each moment as it is without judging or discriminating. I'm very techie-oriented with a background in IT, software, and electronics, but I'm also very spiritual and very open to new ideas.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've met a lot of Couchsurfers through other circles, and think it's an incredible idea. I'd like to travel more, and I like the camaraderie of staying with other people rather than in a hotel.

Interests

When I'm not poking around with an Arduino, I'm usually meditating, reading, or out for a jog. I'm into techy stuff as much as spiritual stuff, with a blend of interests in between. A lot of my time lies in building, programming, and developing fun new tools and concepts.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

At a large festival, I came across someone who had gotten lost and was having a really hard time. I helped them to the volunteer station, chatted with them until they were in a better mode, then walked with them until we found their friends.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm all about computing. I love to teach programming and web development, and I've given public talks on both. My education is in tech, but my passion is in writing. I'm always up for hearing what people have written and throwing ideas back and forth.

I know a little bit of Spanish and even less German, but I'd like to strengthen both.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Depends on the needs of the host. I'm happy to lend a hand however I can!
