About Me

I'm an easy-going Brazilian who is passionate about life. I love getting to know people, hearing their stories, beliefs and cultures. I'm the type of person who appreciates affection, in all circumstances. I believe that love and compassion are the basis of any solution in all walks of life. I consider myself a people person, and throughout my life, I've grown up surrounded by sensational family, friends and community. After studying law and working as a lawyer in Brazil, I had a serious health problem when I was 22 and my life completely changed. Since then, I became vegan and started seeing life from a different perspective. I strongly believe that humans are the most valuable species inhabiting this planet, hence I think that all of us has some sort of beauty and knowledge worth sharing. I respect the differences a lot and think positively in all aspects of my life, and I always see the best in people. I'm currently based in Melbourne, and after living in this city for nearly a year, I absolutely love it. Despite being vegan, I'm totally passionate about food and beverages and I love nothing more than cooking and/or having a meal with friends, either new or old ones. A day without a coffee is like... just kidding, I have no idea. I love coffee and have at least one cup of it daily. I've been working as a barista in Melbourne, so I ended up learning how to make coffee and latte art as well. As a good Brazilian, music runs in my veins (btw, I'm always learning music, having some real knowledge at the Guitar). Also, I LIVE for the beach - you just can't keep me away! I enjoy the outdoors, swimming, football (or soccer), cycling, climbing, just wander around in a park - or hiking up in the mountains... you name it. Anyways, I'm basically an adventurous person who loves getting out and about exploring new places across the world. You know... it's hard to describe yourself, so please do not hesitate to ask me whatever you want to know.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is a perfect example of how technology can enhance our lives. It's a brilliant platform that enables us to connect with communities from everywhere whilst we're going after our dreams when it comes to travelling and getting to know new places and people around the world. I'd like to get to know as many cities, people and ultimately cultures as possible, and that's how I've ended up founding CS and why I’m on it.

Music, Movies, and Books

Too many list up here. I basically like all kinds of music, movie and book, however, each one has its context to take place.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Really hard to answer.

Teach, Learn, Share

I want to be a teacher one day due to the fact that I feel good when sharing knowledge. Therefore, whenever I have a chance, I patiently and pleasantly explain what I've learnt throughout my life. I’m extremely hungry for learning, so I quite often ask thought-provoking questions - always in an interesting and sort of philosophical sense, guys ;)

What I Can Share with Hosts

Heaps of happiness and all the energy I've got. Every stuff that technically "belongs" to me is always to share. I can also guarantee you that I'm not a lazy person at all, so, in other words, I'm "ready to roll" at all times. But, of course, if you wanna take a rest and have your own time, I’ll definitely respect it.
