About Me

Local Malaysian born guy, loves to be of service to those in need.
Especially like to act as a walking map of my town. :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet people from all over the globe.
Also to hear stories of travel from people whom have had the chance to roam across the globe. It might just inspire me to pick up the pace and start roaming about more frequently!

Interests

I love learning and speaking new languages.
I feel that we identify with the people of a country through her native language. As ideal as it may sound, I believe that if everyone around the world spoke one universal language there would be less conflicts. :-)

I like to play sports (field football/indoor futsal)

I also love watching movies at home and at the cinemas as I am a huge movie freak!

Starting to be hit by the travel bug, so it is safe to say that I love to travel and experience new cultures and discover other ways of living.

Music, Movies, and Books

Paolo Coelho's books.
He is one of the most inspirational authors I have read.
I've picked up a few life learning lessons from reading his works.

Neil Gaiman's books.
I particularly love his style of writing. He never fails to lure me into the world of endless dreams which expands the horizons of my imagination.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Helped out tourists in locating their desired spots of travel by explaining how to get to their point of destination.I once went on a streak of helping five in one day!

Given money to a French backpacker who randomly approached me to ask for help, due to his guitar being stolen. He was a busker so the guitar was his means to get some cash from day to day so I just gave him what I had without expecting anything in return.
Life is much more meaningful if we don't expect anything and just do it for the sheer sake of being human.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would be more than happy to teach you a few simple phrases of Malay.

I can show you around town to places which have the best local food. Malaysia is practically a food haven and I would be happy to introduce the local delicacies.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A good conversation and sharing of life experiences :)

Countries I’ve Visited
