Über mich
Currently traveling in Southeast Asia.
Average millennial, born and raised in paradise (Costa Rica), I work for an international company in the HR department, bachelor in industrial engineering. Spanish is my native langue, English level is C1, Portuguese level is B2 and currently learning German (A2) . I'm always looking for a new place to discover, especially if is a place with music. I love going to new places, meeting new people and making great friends.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin
Since I was a kid my mother used to be part of an exchange program so I've always been used to have people from other countries at home, I've met great friends thru this kind of experience. I would really like to meet more people from other places and different cultures.
I like the idea of going to visit another place and not feel like a stranger, know where are the best restaurants, bars, and parks, what's the best museum, beer, wine and ice cream. And I think this app allows you to know people with similar interests like yours and can give you the best advice.
Finally, I love to travel and I think people here have the same feeling and that a good starting point.

Musik, Filme und Bücher
I love music, its one of the thinks that I love the most. Actually, almost all of my travels are either involved with a music festival or a concert. I mainly listen to indie and alternative music like: Radiohead, Arcade Fire, Blur, Death Cab for Cutie, Moby, The Flaming Lips, Florence and the Machine, Alt-J, M83, Young the Giant, Lorde, Phoenix, Air, Haim, Grimes, Foster the People, The XX, Ben Howard, Bomba Estereo, Passion Pit, London Grammar, Of Monsters and Men, Sufjan Stevens, Bon Iver, Spoon, Lucy Dacus, Phoebe Bridgers and many others. So if you like some of those bands we probably can get alone easily.
I also consider myself as a good reader. The last two years I've been reading poetry, latin American poetry mainly, such as Mario Benedetti, Jorge Luis Borges, Pablo Neruda, Irene X y Elvira Sastre and some others. Novels, dramas and books about fantasy are also books that are always welcome in my library.
Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe
I quit my job to travel the world.
Lehren, lernen, teilen
I can teach Spanish, and I can totally try to teach English and Portuguese (without making any promise), I studied physical therapy for 3 years. I'm an engineer so I'm good at making solutions for problems, and I can always give information about everything related to travel around Costa Rica.
Was ich mit Gastgebern teilen kann
The best coffee in the word, which I also carry when I travel, good histories, bad jokes, music that not all people know about, books that you should read, and I'm good at listening to other people. So what's your story?
