Overview
About Me
I am an easy going person, who likes to travel and meet people along the way. I am passionate about music, mostly indie rock, and I am an avid triathlete, new to the sport. I like to hike, surf (beginner), snowboard, cook some good food and share it with friends. I am also passionate about the environment and kind of a locavore.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think that Couchsurfing is a great way to meet locals when traveling on a budget, as well as host travellers at home. For me it is the best way to travel. A country is not defined solely by its landscapes, but also by its people and its culture. Couch surfing allow travellers to get that more easily by meeting locals and sharing experiences.
Interests
I love music. I once was in a rock/metal band back to France, playing the guitar. That was a lot of fun ! Now that I moved to Toronto, I started training for long distance triathlons, which I found exhilarating and super challenging. My goal is to run an Ironman in the coming years. Next year, I'll run a half-Ironman. I love cooking local food, from scratch, trying new recipes and sharing with friends and family. I also like to read a good book !

Music, Movies, and Books
Indie rock: Converge, Mogwai, Neurosis, Baroness, Boards of Canada, Dan Deacon, Deerhoof, Thee Oh Sees, etc.
My best movies are always the documentary movies, very engaged. I also like to watch a good thriller or a good independent movie about social relationship. French movies are really good for that !
I love to read politicaly engaged books and/or about the environment. Right now, I am finishing the latest Naomi Klein "This changes everything".
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In high school, I once played with my band in front of hundreds of people, as we were opening for a well-known french metal band, the night before I had to take an entrance exam for an engineering school. I ended up playing the best show of my life and got accepted to the school.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to cook some typical french dishes! I would like to learn more about yoga and meditation, which I find helps me a lot in my triathlon training and in my life in general.
What I Can Share with Hosts
A good meal, with some good wine ! :)
