My name is André Valente, Brazilian, open minded, 36 years old.

I am a constant traveler! I graduated in History I'm Brazilian and I've been living in NYC for 4 years, having daily contact with people from all over the world. Even though NYC is incredible, starting on October 27th I'll start a long trip to visit the Seven Wonders of the Modern World and I'll pass through the following cities:

HOSTS, ATTENTION HERE: ‼️‼️‼️‼️

TRY to generate genuine connections in the cities I visit. I worked for a few years at Booking and my discounts remain for life. Paying for a hostel wouldn't be absurd at all. But I consider CS to be much better than hosting. UNFORTUNATELY, it's easier to get a response from Google's human resources than from most hosts. Many ask you to say keywords to prove that you read the profile, you go there... enter the keyword, write a text just for that host request and the conclusion is: there's no response, or to keep the rate high on the app, they just refuse. In other words, we do our part of reading everything, dedicating ourselves exclusively to that request and all of this is ignored. Empathy!!! One day it's me looking for a host, another it could be you.

I think the most incredible thing I did (and also the biggest crazy LOL) was traveling to New York to stay a few days and end up getting months, I simply fell in love with the energy of the city and the people !!

But I believe that the biggest madness of my life was actually the trip listed above. Sometimes I can't even believe it happened.

Here in New York, I work at a 2 Michelin star French restaurant (fancy, right? LOL) so I can try to cook something that is good for you, but don't really expect the French menu at the restaurant, I like to cook simple and tasty things!
