About Me

I was born in the US from Brazilian parents, grew up in Brazil till I was 11, and moved back to the US afterwards.
I'm a friendly guy always looking for opportunities to see and experience the world around me and get to know its people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have many friends who have done it. When I was overseas (Thailand) for 2 years, I met many people who were couchsurfing and they all seemed like good, genuine people. I want to be a part of that community.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music:
I listen to a little bit of everything, but what I tend to listen to more often than not on my Pandora station is Bossa Nova (Brazilian jazz).

Movies:
Any Jason Statham movie is an automatic watch. Good action, explosions, sub-par plot an bad character development all make it for an ideal time to tune out from life.

As for more quality movies, here are ten great ones...
The Usual Suspects,
Seven,
Warrior,
Fight Club,
City of God,
Wall*e,
Shawshank Redemption,
Pulp Fiction,
Silence of the Lambs,
Memento

Book:
Brave New World
