About Me

I'm a free-spirited lover of music and travel, and I enjoy attending festivals as often as I can. So far, I've been to EDC Las Vegas, Coachella, Life is Beautiful, and Life in Color. I also love National Parks--I've been to 19 different parks over the past 4 years and have explored massive caves, hiked through canyons, and surfed on sand dunes. When I'm not traveling or going on adventures, I spend my time reading and writing. I'm an INTJ and a Virgo, and I love animals, fireworks, flowers, food, and art.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm in the process of finding and securing a live-in nanny position, so I'm looking for a temporary place to stay where I can get to know some locals and see what LA is all about. I've lived around and explored New York City and Las Vegas, and I'm looking forward to getting back into the swing of big city living. In the future, I hope to connect with locals in cities all over the world.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love EDM, and top 40s (pretty much anything you can dance to), with a little bit of alternative thrown in. Top artists: Rezz, Flume, ODESZA, The Glitch Mob, Dillon Francis, Marshmello, Kaskade, K.Flay, Watsky, Lana Del Rey, Sia.

Some of my favorite books: Game of Thrones, Harry Potter, The Awakening, Hardboiled Wonderland and The End of The World, The Power of Habit. My favorite genres are SciFi and Fantasy. I read 20+ books per year, and I've even read War and Peace!

TV/Netflix: Game of Thrones (of course), West World, Bojack Horseman, Big Mouth, Glow, Rick and Morty, The End of the Fucking World. I also love anime.

Some of my favorite movies: The Lobster, It Follows, Her, Moulin Rouge!, The Truman Show, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Ex Machina, Death Proof.

Other: I love plays and musicals, and I've seen six different ballets. I'd love to attend an opera.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've moved across the country--twice--from Arizona to New Jersey, and from New Jersey to Nevada. Now I'm moving again! Eventually, I'd like to move to a different country.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm happy to teach basic cooking skills to anyone who would like to learn. I'm also willing to help hosts with their English speaking skills as needed. Maybe I could teach you a thing or two about art. I'm always learning and I'm open to new experiences, but I would especially like to learn the secrets of traveling on a shoestring budget. At some point in my life, I want to travel all throughout Europe and spend 3-6 months in Japan. Learning how to sail is a long-term goal of mine as well.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I live a very active lifestyle, and would gladly be your workout buddy! I'm happy to recommend books if you're looking for a good read. When I'm not out exploring, I'd be happy to provide the following professional services in exchange for your hospitality: housekeeping, cooking, laundry, errands, childcare, pet care, and household organization. I also love deep conversations about life, reality, and the future of mankind, so if you want company and conversation, I can provide that too!
