Hi, we're Andrea and Ralf! We're from Germany and moved to the Bulgarian country side a few years ago.

We're loving the simple and quiet life here compared to the busyness of the cities we've been living for so many years. In our house we're trying to slowly "leaving the matrix" by dabbling in gardening and going for hikes.

Our job requires us to be online for extended times - and we sure love all things digital -, but we've come to a point were we want to counter that by getting our hands dirty in garden soil and bending our backs instead of standing at our desks.

We feel grateful for the opportunity to start a new life in lovely Bulgaria.

Dlaczego jestem na Couchsurfing

Now that we moved into a house with guest rooms we're asking ourselved: What to do with all that space? How to breath some life into our house? Friends, family, and relatives won't be willing to visit us that often.

And then by pure chance we had an encounter with a lovely family from Israel who convinced us that couchsurfing was an easy, practical, and very fun way to put our guest rooms to good use: It's an opportunity to get to know people, cultures, viewpoints we'd otherwise probably never met - all from the comfort of our home.

With the space we have we can make an offer to people with maybe fewer resources and in return contribute to weaving a web of personal connections across the world to make it a peaceful place.

Jedna niesamowita rzecz, którą zrobiłem(-am)

Left our life as city dwellers in Germany behind and moved to the countryside close to the mountains in Bulgaria. Just a few years back we'd have thought that was crazy. But it worked very well and feels completely natural. We are very grateful for all the help with that from Coworking Bansko! The community there is amazing.
