About Me
It seems you stumbled upon my profile! Benvenuti :D
CURRENT MISSION
Learning Dutch and how to survive to Amsterdam forecast.
Anyway. Ciao! I'm Andrea born in Napoli, now in the amazing city that is Amsterdam! Expat since 2017.
I'm atm working in a pizzeria... the hirony! Studied international relations focused on the Asian area, particurarly on Japan, its history and colture.. OH! I've been there twice and planning my 3rd!
I've found my passion in travelling and try to do so as much as i can! Maybe that's why i mooved out from Napoli and Italy! Netflix is mandatory, gamer, i try to cook decent italians dishes and a glass of wine must always be present.
I've been in Havana for a parade on Josè Martin the 1st Cuban revolutionary, on the day of his birth 23rd of Jan.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Going to Amsterdam from Naples really gave me actual knowledge of what is outside my country. While this may seem normal to many people it definitely is not in Italy. Even in these times our country still has limits and narrow-mindness and I don't like that.
Hosting or even just hanging out with people from all around the world is one of the most refreshing experiences I have had so far and I plan to keep it that way!
Interests
I'm the type of guy who likes to try anything just to get bored of it little after!! I guess what really has stuck to me over these years is my passion for my job, gaming, hanging out with my friends, and movies! As I already said though, I like to keep an open mind just to make sure I don't judge anything without even trying it!
And ofcourse we are in Amsterdam so cheese and weed are always at our disposal.

Music, Movies, and Books
Classic rock music is my choise, blues, jazz and soul are always on my playlist also.
Favourite movies..too many! I love going to the cinema, sometimes even alone!
Over the years i have more and more drifted to tv series: You name one I've seen it/heard of it/solemnly refused to watch it because George R. R. Martin cannot live forever and i NEED to now how Game of Thrones ends!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was on top of mount Fuji (Fuji-san) located on Honshu Island, is the highest mountain in Japan at 3,776.24 m (12,389 ft) and 7th-highest mountain on an island.
Teach, Learn, Share
I come from the southern part of Italy. Anyone who has a little bit of knowledge about Italy knows that we are the warmest, nicest, most cheerful and easy going people in the nation!! My hometown, Naples and my parents, taught me the values of respect and education but also to combine them with sympathy and fun! If you are the just-a-handshake-is-ok type of person then we won't go along well! I hope I can bring all this to my future hosts
(Otherwise I'll bring pizza...need I say more?)
What I Can Share with Hosts
The moment I accept a request, to me that automatically means that my days are dedicated almost completely to providing you the same experience I would like if I were to be hosted!
I'd love to show you around Amsterdam, practise my English, get to know you and your culture and most of all have you experience the wonders of Amsterdam as a resident, quite night in the city? There is always a nice bar for a good beer and some snacks! Want to have a grasp of the night life? Did you now that Amsterdam is the 1st city in Europe for numbers of festivals? Hosting in excess of 300 festivals every year!
If I do not have time to give you this kind of attention, be it for work or agenda, then I'll most likely decline your request! This is Couchsurfing not Airbnb!
