Overview
About Me
I've been traveling the Western Hemisphere since I was 16. I purchased my first ticket to Europe and fell in love with traveling and living abroad. I've lived and worked in Spain and England. I currently teach elementary students who are acquiring English as a second language. My fiancé and I have been together 8 years. He was the boy next door and I was the girl next door. Our paths finally collided and the rest is history. We live with our Rat Terrier, MONTY, kitty, Lilly and two budgies, Cheech and Chong. Everyone says we should be a bed and breakfast. John is a carpenter by trade and chef and artist. His work and food is AMAZING!! We are now traveling the world TOGETHER and just finished my life long dream: hiking the Inca Trail and visiting Machu Picchu. It was so much more than that though!!! We love camping and meeting people from other countries. We are very laid back, bohemian style. He loves beer and I love wine. We would like to try couch surfing ourselves and open our home to curious minds who want a cozy place to rest their head.

Wild and Right Turn at Machu Picchu,
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I hiked and climbed the Inca Trail with the love of my life at age 42 after dreaming about accomplishing this adventure, not with anybody, too easy, but rather the right person.
Moved my entire life to Madrid, Spain and became a TEFL teacher. I put my things into storage and took one of my Persian cats with me.
Teach, Learn, Share
Never give up on your dreams. It's never too late to reinvent yourself. You can be in the middle of your life at crossroads, just choose one direction, faith and belief will get you there!!
I want to learn more about gratitude, grace and staying present.
