Hi! My name is Andrea, I'm 21 years old, and I come from Philadelphia, but both my parents are Italian. I feel just as much American and I do Italian. I am an undergrad at Brown University studying Neuroscience, with the plan of going to med school afterwards.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I absolutely LOVE to travel. Maybe because I travelled so much just with my family, but it has become a passion. Anytime I get the chance I'd choose to up and go. As I am now studying abroad for the semester, I will be doing a lot of short trips, potentially even solo. For this reason I think Couchsurfing will be an awesome experience, because it will give me a new look at the places I visit that I've never really had before! I'm excited to meet new people and explore new cities.

I listen to a lot of rap, on the chiller side but like the majority of the genre. Also enjoy EDM.
Books I've recently been into are non-fiction, exploring how humans work and the human mind. A fascinating subject.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My best traveling experience I've had was a 6 week tour around Greece and Southern Italy--absolutely spectacular. We WHOOFed (worked on a farm) in Crete for two weeks, away from civilization, away from everything we knew prior. An awesome experience.
