Looking for adventures and fun !

The best way to discover a country is to stay more than a few days, slow travel is my solution: working a few months or more and discover around. My project is to do this for a while and volunteer in different remoted places.

I could simply describe myself as a nature lover, everything related to nature is interesting for me, and I never feel better than on the border of a lake, in the forest, or just wherever there's no civilization or as less as possible. I love to discover new places and meet new people for sharing experiences and passions. I'm pretty always up for anything that I've never done before, big things or small things.

Even though I was quite shy before, thanks to some trips I became very friendly and easy living. I love to talk with a good pint of beer and share stories :)

Por que estou no Couchsurfing?

The best way to discover a place is to hear about it from people living there. If I use couchsurfing it's to take time to talk with my hosts about their story and hopefully get time to visit the surroundings with them.
CS is also a way to look for some friendly company while travelling.

Interesses

Almost everything that can be done outside is something I like. Hiking, cycling, camping, kayaking, I'm always up for this kind of trip. It's important for me to be outside and learn about the outdoors surrounding me. Working with animals is also something I fency, especially since I have trained sled dogs.

I am learning photography by myself. As a nature lover I mainly focus on nature and animal photography.

Environment protection is also a subject I really care for, I am always up to join a beach cleaning, and have some good stories and knowledge about marine liter.

Completing a sled dogs race in Norway.
2 days with 6 dogs to drive me for 80km of lakes, mountains and forests.
I won't write much about it, but it is a story I would be more than happy to share with you.

I can teach you some French or how to do the cup song.

There are many things I would like to learn, for exemple survival skills, playing harmonica, carving wood, surprise me !

The same way I would love to hear about your stories and adventures, I could share my stories about my dogsledding and sailing adventures in Norway, or talk to you for hours about my love for Canada or Denmark. Sharing is also about food, as a French person I could cook some french food (or try to) for you, I'm becoming quite an expert of crêpes.
