About Me

I'm not a big fan of ourselves description. However let's try

A quick recap of the last years. Born and raised in Rome, I left my city when I was 19 for France, where I started working as a skipper, then I moved back to Italy for my studies in clinical psychology. I spent the following years between Italy and France's seaside regions (Brittany, Antilles, Corsica, Basque Country) alternating between years of academic path and years of sailing and skippering.

I think I'm very ironic (when I know the language enough to be) and a very adaptable person, to people and situation, and I'm quite responsive to peoples's states (if you are shy probably I will be, so don't be, tell me every bullshit that goes through your mind and I will be happy to listen to it). I'm in general eager to learn, and I love to share what I know.

A rundown of stuff that I'm particullary into: sailing, kitsurfing, windsurfing and a lot of other -ing stuff related with the sea, my studies related subjects (psychology, mental health, neuroscience, psychotherapy, drugs' neural mechanisms and effects, blablabla....),
climbing rooftops and take a look at the skyline you can see from there, stand up comedy, take a walk in some abandoned metro lines or building, languages (I can help with french or Italian if you'd like it, and I would love to improve my not-so-far-from-shitty english), rock-climbing, boxing, camping, party and make stupid things with smart people, spartan coditions and non precisely scheduled trip, a wild homemade party with people all over the place, politics and historical backgrounds of the places I visit.

It's not my expertise, but I can cook something of the Italian cuisine, that according to the cliches (and I kind of agree) it's not so bad

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Obviously because you can travel in the cheapest way by meeting locals, and in so doing learnig new languages and cultures. What more could you ask? Moreover not being regulated by the aim of the profit I guess people are truly interestd in that, and so to forge more friendly and disinterested relationships.
