Jitterbug Perfume continues to be hands down my favourite book, but I'm looking to read more non-fiction and books about spiritual awareness/self-help this year as they are precisely the sort of thing I would never pick up! Currently leafing through Ruiz's The Four Agreements.

Love all sorts of music, brass band, African drumming and gypsy music gets the heart pumping, old school rock and roll, deep house, jazz, 90s RnB... I am definitely not a music snob!

I absolutely love chilling with a movie, cosy nights in are paramount. Some of my favourites include the Before trilogy (Sunrise, Sunset, Midnight), The Matrix, any of Arnie's comedies (talking Kindergarten Cop, Twins, Last Action Hero) and if I'm being unabashedly honest just about anything involving Schwarzenegger ever made, The Big Lebowski, The Craft, Boogie Nights, foreign cinema including, Old Boy, Incendies, The Intouchables, most Disney and Pixar flicks... yeah, I really love movies.

I'm fluent in English & conversationally fluent in Serbian, speak a little Spanish and am learning modern Greek. I love to learn languages and immerse myself in new languages and cultures.

I am a notorious picker upper and putter downer of hobbies so I can do the following:
* Crochet lines and lines of a single stitch
* Play some chords on the Ukulele but not a single song in its entirety
* Fold an origami envelope (seriously, it's a little bit better than a regular envelope)
* Write shitty poetry
* Write short stories not for public consumption
* Sing in key, sometimes
* Swing dance to a fairly satisfactory level for rock and roll nights at the bowling club
* Ballet at a level somewhere between never having heard of the concept of ballet, and having taken one beginner class
