About Me

I'm 25 years old, I come from Milan, and I'm soon gonna graduate in Medicine!!

I lived and studied one year in France (2014/2015) and one year in German (2016/2017), as part of the amazing Erasmus program!

I have a huge passion about language learning, and after learning English, Spanish, French and German, I'm currently learning Dutch!

Card games and board games make me happy :)
Please tell me you too like chess! I haven't played in such a long time!

I wish I started playing volleyball when I was 3 ahaha. I think it's an amazing sport!

I like cooking, and love eating even more!!! ahaha
Oh yeah, I make very good Tiramisù!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I joined couch surfing during my year in Germany in order to meet some cool people in Cologne and possibly a language exchange partner. And I did!

That same year I met my ex Dutch boyfriend and that gave me a chance to discover a lot of the Netherlands.
I never knew it was such a nice little country!

Then last august I went to Utrecht and I just fell in love with the place!!!!
There is just nowhere else I'd rather be right now! (Not having experienced the dutch winter yet helped probably too ahah)

Now I'm back in Italy where I live with my parents (someone save me!) until March at least, when I'll finally graduate from medical school!

But the thought of going back to the Netherlands and maybe live there too has stayed with me all along.
Shall I go? When? What about Dutch? But you don't know people there, what are you gonna do?

Finally, a couple of days ago, in a moment of mystical enlightenment (or craziness, as I tend to call it now ahah) I booked a one-way flight to the Netherlands for after just after the date of my graduation.

And if I survive this crazy adventure, nothing else will be able to stop me from achieving my dream!
I wanna work as a doctor in the Netherlands!!!

But before that I will need to survive so I sent my CV around and I got an interview at a hostel for a cleaning job! So that's the only fixed thing I am planning to do in Utrecht ahah and for the rest I will be doing the tourist!

Don't know how long I will stay, but if everything goes well I might just never leave ahah

Maybe couchsurfing will allow me to meet great people living there!!!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was living in France, a friend and I travelled around Spain for 3 weeks.
We stopped for a couple of days in Cadiz, where some friends were doing their Erasmus.
With them we spent a night on the beach, lit a fire inside a half-broken abandoned building, cooked some fish, played music and sang around the fire.
It was a magical night.

The really craziest thing I will probably ever do in my life is taking that plane in march and try to survive in the Netherlands with no guarantees eheh
