About Me

Ok, I’m doing a new may 2018 profile ! Last one was too brief and in Spanish! So I’ll do it in english this time.

Hi everyone!! I’m Andrea originally from Bolivia but living in Northern France as a language assistant, so yes, I work and I make money but! I don’t get paid big bucks, I’m on a type of exchange program.
I really love traveling when I was in Bolivia. I never really got the chance to do it as often as I wanted, but HERE! What can I say? I truly fell in love with just being in a new place, or even coming back and discovering other parts of the same place.

I believe I found myself in traveling alone. It’s like reading a book, there’s this silence and inside excitement that I adore...

So yes, I’m kind of a loner but not an extremely loner person. I consider myself an introvert that enjoys talking and sharing with people from time to time.

May is my last month in France and Europe, I’ll be coming back to my beautiful motherland. So I really want to grasp and enjoy while I still have the time.

I really hope that you can lend me a hand (or a couch) !!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Music, Movies, and Books

Cortázar is one of my favorites, I truly recommend all of his work.
Junot Diaz speaks like if he was a best friend, I love his writing and the Wondrous brief life of Oscar Wao is my favorite book of his.
Xavier Velascos' Diablo Guardian is one of my favorite books of all time.
Samantha Schweblin is a golden writer, she's from Argentina but she writes like no other I've ever read, her stories are astonishing and will always leave you a little disturbed but pleased at the same time.

Big Fish will be forever my favorite, the way the story is told and the journey that he passes by is mesmerizing.
I love all Wes Anderson’s movies there’s something about the colors, symmetry and dialogues that seems perfect.
I know Amélie is a very cliché favorite movie, but I loved it... the weirdness and kindness mixed together creating a fantastic character that Amelie is... I cannot not love this movie. Sorry
I love Japanese animation too. Cowbo Bebop is amazing!

I listen to almost all kind of music and I love when people recommend me tunes and books as well !

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I guess that balancing in Adam’s lookout in Amsterdam was amazing!
Also I spend a nuit blanche in Metz with my wet clothes and two strangers waiting for a bus, I would never have done that.

Teach, Learn, Share

I used to teach english in Bolivia and I teach Spanish here, so there’s that !

What I Can Share with Hosts

Well, I’m not noisy at all, I always try to put myself in the place of a host, I believe in kindness. I can also cook if you want hahaha
