Overview
About Me
My favorite hobby on earth is to travel and meet people from different countries.
My current mission is to travel as much as I can to understand the world from different perspectives.
Trying to live by this motto:
"Become friends with people who aren't your age. Hang out with people whose first language isn't the same as yours. Get to know someone who doesn't come from your social class. This is how you see the world. This is how you grow"
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Travelling is when I feel the most alive and I want to discover this world.
I am very eager to learn, and what better way to learn than speaking/staying with locals?
Interests
I love sports, especially swimming, hiking and doing yoga.
I am a huge fan of languages, cooking, going to concerts and photography.

Music, Movies, and Books
Favorite book: The Alchemist
I generally love travel books and can spend a whole day flipping through them.
Music: I listen different types of music, it depends on my mood.
Of course I enjoy a lot listing to music from Latin America, but I also like artists like Maroon 5, The Kooks, Capital Cities, Bastille, Sam Smith, Coldplay, Queen, Red Hot Chilli Peppers.
My favourite Colombian artist is Carlos Vives! His music has the best energy ever and I feel very proud of how far he has gone. Other cool Colombian artists are Fonseca, Andres Cepeda and Choquibtown.
I enjoy a lot going to the cinema and sometimes I watch TV series, preferably with friends.
Currently watching Game of Thrones and The Medici.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Camping one week in Zadar at an olive oil farm with no water or electricity with other couch surfers.
Living 9 months in England (the first time living abroad for so long).
Sharing a flat with 6 Germans in the city where I studied for a year and a half (it helped me a lot to understand Germany, learn the language and meet incredible people).
Travelling solo for the first time to Armenia and Georgia. A lovely family there hosted me and until today, they are very close to me.
Volunteering in Tangier and exploring Morocco for 5 months. Especially visiting Nomads that leave in caves near the Atlas mountains.
Teach, Learn, Share
I would love to learn how to cook different dishes from all over the world, and overall learn from different traditions. Getting some off the beaten path tips of your cities are more than welcome, since I enjoy to see the less touristic side (and also what I believe is the most real side) of the places I visit.
I can help people who want to practise their Spanish, English or German.
I would also like to share my perspective as a Colombian and perhaps help to change our image as a country (although I am very happy it has changed a lot during the past years).
What I Can Share with Hosts
Would like to exchange world perspectives and in general enjoy cooking a meal, having a coffee, a beer or going for a walk.
I appreciate very much when someone accepts hosting me, so I respect your schedules, keep my things tidy and enjoy spending some time with hosts whenever it suits best.
