About Me

Heyyo :) I'm Andrea and I love good food, nature and outdoor activities! I run my own travel blog: http://www.sheroamstheworld.com and I'm always up for an adventure :D

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've met a ton of amazing people on my solo travel adventures and WWOOFing experiences, and I look forward to meeting all kinds of new and interesting people from all over the world. That's perhaps the best part of meeting couchsurfers: Hearing all the wonderful stories they have to share, and learning from their experiences.

Interests

-Outdoor sports (Hiking, Kayaking... if it requires us to get active, I'm probably up for it!)
-Nature
-Photography
-Culture
-Food

I'm really open to new experiences... only thing is that I don't drink, so I don't go clubbing! But I'm open to going to hang out at a pub to chill with some nice music :)

-Books: Totto-chan, A thousand splendid suns... the list goes on! I'm a bookworm.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Just one? Haha I kid.

Well, I've gone WWOOFing in Canada as my first solo trip, which was in June 2015 and I loved it so much that I went again in May 2016. But another crazy thing would be that I've cycled around villages in Cambodia to give out food when I was volunteering at a local soup kitchen there :D

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to speak Chinese haha.
I do cook and bake sometimes, but I'd love to learn more cooking skills and recipes too! :)
I love learning new and random things, so really, if you want to teach me about something you're passionate in, I'm down for it! (Frisbee is always good, I've been dying to learn haha)
I like anything water-related so I'm always game for kayaking, swimming etc

What I Can Share with Hosts

My asian heritage. Hahaha, well I guess the fact that I'm chinese makes it interesting to begin with. But I guess what I bring to the table is my enthusiasm! I'm game for all kinds of fun activities. If we can get the ingredients, I would love to cook some Singaporean food for you too.
