关于我
Hi! I'm Andrea — a scientist from Mexico and a passionate traveler.
I’m deeply into public health research and biotechnology, but I also love art, local food, and wandering through new cities without a plan. I'm curious and easily fascinated by stories, textures, and the little details that make each place unique.
I’m especially drawn to textile crafts, old bookstores, flea markets, and antique shops — I could spend hours exploring them! Museums, especially those that blend science and art, are my happy place.
I love to cook — especially Mexican dishes like enchiladas, tortilla soup, or chilaquiles — so I’d be happy to prepare something nice if you host me.
I speak Spanish, French and English, and I’m currently learning Russian and German . If you'd like to practice languages, I’d love that too!
If you’re into science, health, culture or just deep conversations, we’ll get along great 😊
I truly enjoy getting to know people and exchanging perspectives — whether it’s over a walk, a homemade meal, or just talking about life. I don’t need luxury to feel at home — just kindness, warmth, and curiosity.
我为什么加入 Couchsurfing
Because I want to travel in a meaningful and authentic way — not just visiting places, but connecting with the people who live there.
I believe Couchsurfing offers something no hotel or guidebook can: the chance to live a city from within, through the eyes of locals.
I love sharing ideas, cooking together, learning from other cultures, and creating memories that leave a mark. I also hope to host when I can and give back to the community.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情
One amazing thing I’ve done is solo traveling through Costa Rica — waking up surrounded by jungle sounds, riding local buses to remote towns, and connecting with people I never expected to meet.
I’ve also lived in the heart of Mexico City, where every street corner feels like a story waiting to happen — from spontaneous concerts to quiet, magical cafés hidden in chaos.
Another highlight was doing long road trips across the U.S., exploring national parks like Yosemite, Zion, and the Grand Canyon. Nothing compares to sleeping under the stars or sharing trail stories with strangers who feel like friends by sunset.
These experiences have shaped how I see the world — with curiosity, trust, and deep appreciation for human connection.
教,学,和分享
Teach:
I can teach you how to cook simple, delicious Mexican dishes — like chilaquiles, salsas, or veggie tacos — or show you creative textile techniques and handcrafts I’ve learned during my travels. I also enjoy teaching basic Spanish or helping with pronunciation if you're learning. I’ve even led small workshops on science communication and health topics — so if you're curious about biology, viruses, or public health, we can totally geek out together.
Learn:
I love learning about people’s passions — whether it’s music, philosophy, architecture, or your favorite childhood recipe. I’m open to trying local food, listening to music I’ve never heard, or understanding your view of the world. I believe everyone I meet has something to teach me, and I’m a very attentive listener.
Share:
I’m happy to share long talks, playlists, cultural stories, small handmade gifts, or quiet companionship. I adapt easily — I can be social and engaging, or independent and low-key, depending on your vibe. If you’re busy, I totally respect your time and space. If you want company, I’ll bring joy, curiosity, and maybe dessert.
我可以与沙发主分享些什么
I’m a clean, respectful, and thoughtful guest. I always leave the space tidy, help with dishes or cooking, and never take hospitality for granted.
I bring good energy, humor, and genuine gratitude. I travel light, don’t need much, and adapt easily to your house rules and lifestyle. I can help with language practice (Spanish or English), cook meals for you, or simply be quiet and independent if that’s your preference.
If you have pets — even better! I love animals and I’m happy to help care for them.
I’m also happy to share personal travel stories, deep conversations, and laughter. Whether we share a walk, a homemade meal, or just a quick chat before bed — I believe every human connection has value.
Above all, I promise to bring openness, warmth, and respect to your home. If you decide to host me, I’ll do my best to make it a positive and memorable experience for both of us.
