Overview
About Me
1,85 m / 6 feet tall; 120 kg / 264 pound heavy; despite my intimidating appearance, I'm easy going and good hearted as a big panda; I'm a bit old school and shy compared to people of my age ( that hasn't really upset anyone in years, but I can be a bit boring sometimes ); generally speaking, I'm open minded and I've a good ability to adapt to different situation.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
A really good friend of mine talked me about Couchsurfing, as I'm currently ( march/april 2016 ) planning a trip to Japan. Fortunately enough, I was able to secure a long vacation and I'm eager to meet people and get a better understanding of their life and culture. That proved very pleasing in my previous journeys and the website offers a great service in that regard. Due to the fact that I live in one of the most unattractive and boring part of Italy, I'm not sure I'll be able to return the favor, but if anyone is interested in the culture and land of north Piedmont, I'll be pleased to help.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music:
I listen to pretty much every type of music; that being said I enjoy specifically UK based rock and pop bands: Queen; James Blunt; the Who; I don't like too much disco, techno or dance music.
Movies:
I'm more of a fan of TV series like Dr House; Scrubs; Parks & Recreation and others, but I enjoy going to the movie theater if there is a good movie on screen.
Books:
I don't really like reading, but lately I've enjoied crime novels of the italian series of the "Commissario Montalbano".
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I haven't done anything really amazing in my life. The several trips I have done to Tanzania were epic for me, even though at that time I was traveling with my parents due to my age. Those were true adventures in a land that, despite the immense poverty, is rich in wonderful people and amazing sceneries.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach:
I am not that arrogant in thinking that I can teach something to anyone.
I like better to share my views and learn from others ( wherever the conversation may lead ).
I am not definitely a good cook ( sorry about that ), so I can't share the wisdom of italian cuisine. I can make Pasta if you like, but that's about it.
What I Can Share with Hosts
If someone is interest in visiting me in Italy, the following URL will lead you to a video that explains where I live ( don't be fooled by the sun shining, weather in Piedmont is more like London: it rains almost every day of the year. Those who did the video were lucky XD ):

Unfortunatly, due to my work, I have so little time to share.
To those who are considering hosting me in their country, I can share good conversation both in Italian and English.
