Hello, I'm a gal who was born and raised in Costa Rica but has lived in Canada for four years now. I'm pretty quiet and easygoing, also very flexible and open to new things. I live in the second-best London in the world (London Ontario). I've done a lot of travelling throughout America but this will be my first time in Europe. I just finished a 4-year undergraduate degree in Kinesiology so this will be my last huzzah before I enter the world of adulting.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm doing some travelling in Europe on a budget (AKA the rest of my university loans). I bought a one-way ticket to England on a whim and I'll see where I go from there. I'm looking forward to meeting new people, trying out different foods, and enjoying the different cultures.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- I worked at a toucan refuge for a year (mostly looking after the sloths).
- I trained with the Costa Rican Search and Rescue team when I was 17.
- I visited the Mayan pyramids in Guatemala twice.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach Spanish (although I have lost a little bit of it now that I haven't used it for four years), and anything health and fitness-related. I can tell you all about the culture in Central America and what it's like to travel there. I would love to learn how to cook local food, and also about the culture, traditions, and history of the countries I am staying in. I adore animals - I've had 8 of them growing up - so please share your beautiful pets with me!
