About Me

hi there!
i like to think that i'm a dependable, autonomous and amiable guy.

i'm presently working for an american university in Florence, and i'm a scout leader in my free time for the teenagers between 12 and 16 years of age.

just got a decree this year (early 2019) at the university of Florence in the scienze vivaistiche course (green related stuff).

i tried out many different sports through the years, and the one i liked the most was surely flagthrowing in medieval events in and around Florence.
i like to know new people and have new experiences.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

been in a few place, both in a gruop and alone, and i can't wait to start expanding my orizon with this new tool in hand (couchsurfing).
it would be perfect to discover what the reality of the places i visit really is, and not only what internet and the touristic panplets tell everyone.

Music, Movies, and Books

i like almost all tipes of music, especially rock, epic and swing (yeah i know it's a strange mix, but what can i say? i like them all). same goes for movies. depending on the occasion i can prefer serious ones like "What Dreams May Come" or "the green mile", just like i can really appreciate the 20th time watching "kungfury".
as for books i prefer fantasy by a lot over other genres, but sometimes i like also my sci-fi and thriller.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

don't know if it qualifies as "incredible", but i have walked the english path for the santiago pilgrimage with a few friends, and it surely was an incredible experience for me.
just like the 100th anniversay of scoutism at the Brownsea Jamboree, i'll never forget those days.

What I Can Share with Hosts

i can cook fairly well (but with recepies limited mostly to italian food).
as they say: "when in Rome do as the romans do", you can count on me to be respectfull of your home and i know how to make myself usefull when needed.
i do know a few good stories and i don't shy from sharing any/anything, be it travelling or other.
i can both be silent and unnoticeable, or keep company and share a beer; really depends what you prefer.
