Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've been traveling a lot since I am small kid , first with my family around my country, and now with my friends around the world . I love sightseeing , but after several experiences I came to the conclusion that in order to really get the best of a city , you must hang out or get to know what locals have learned after a whole life, and well in exchange I try to put in words the same feeling you have of your own town, with the same passion. I also like people in general , I believe we are so the same, that it is enchanting. I am frequently much more amazed by how people are so alike besides the culture , that from what we have in difference for that . I like the fact that what makes us humans is shared and so natural.
Interests
I like comics and character design. I enjoy graphic Novels and I love illustrations . I have a huge interest in galleries and expositions , I love museums , any size and topic. I like flea markets , antiques , and buying organic indie products.
I like cooking and and eating. I love traveling and walking, I usually go hiking and camping with friends , whether it is in Mexico or in Colombia.
I love art in all its shapes , sounds , and experiences , but mostly I prefer Music and Painting. I love drawing, sketches and doodles are my stuff . I am a huge fan of museums and galleries , I can spend a whole day in an exhibition .
I love eating and cooking , I am specially well recognized for my asian looking food , I cannot say if it is truly accurate in terms of preparation , but according to some Chinese friends it does looks and taste asian .

Music, Movies, and Books
I love Music, it is simply one of the key aspects in my life . I can spend hours looking for fresh artists , or simply good numbers with nice vibes ; I am not that much into top lists , but I listen too all genders , all ages. I like bass, soul , jazz, folk , haus, funk, electro swing , indie , classical , instrumental , etc.
My favorite books are in spanish , Rayuela , el Llano en Llamas , Dirio de la Pasion, El Cartero de Neruda. I love surrealism and magic realism , I specially like the books that portrait the beauty of day to day life. I also read a lot of Graphic Novels and Short comics. I like satirical points of view.
I like Wes Anderson , Tarantino , Iñarritu and Quaron pieces. My favorite one is Amelie.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I went to the Amazons and stayed with a tribe for one week . I was there with my family and we participated in all kind of rituals. In one of these I tried the spiciest thing I've ever had : A live tiny frog. Weird sensation in the mouth , and specially awfully crispy. But I also got to swim with the pink dolphins and walk around for about an hour with a sloth hanging in my back . Beautiful.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am teacher of History of art in the local Museum at my home town Queretaro. My students are quite special because they are blind , so it is basically describing meticulously and with very nice metaphors the thins you are seeing . For example How could you describe the blue deepness of the Starry Night to someone who has never seen colors?
