Hello bella gente,
Ho deciso di tradurre la presentazione dall'inglese, il che, sicuramente, a volte suonerà non poco strano!
Sono un gioioso e solare italiano e ho 28 anni. Sono un autentico animale sociale (Aristotele) e mi nutro delle relazioni sociali. Ciò non significa che non sono discreto, quando necessario, oppure che non abbia bisogno di alcuni momenti di tranquillità con le mie personalità multiple (oh, sto a scherzà!). In una società le regole sono il farò guida ma, credo, che talvolta sia utile violarne alcune. Questo non è il caso delle esperienza di Couchsurfing, in cui colui che viene ospitato dovrà seguire le regole di colui che gli offre ospitalità (sta cosa che in italiano "ospite" vale per entrambi è problematica eh).
Perche parlo come un manuale di sociologia? Partiamo con la parte noiosa! Sono cresciuto in Basilicata, una sconosciuta ma bellissima regione nel cuore del sud Italia e poi, quando ho compiuto 19 anni, mi sono trasferito a Roma, dove ho cominciato gli studi in Scienze politiche. In quegli anni ho vissuto due bellissime esperienze universitarie in Germania, prima a Dresden e poi a Berlino, dove ho condotto le ricerche sull'estrema destra contemporanea. Dopo aver collezione qualche altro titolo accademico, ho finalmente vinto la borsa di dottorato: praticamente mi pagano per fare quello che amo!
No, non provengo da una famiglia ricca - ma manco povera per fortuna - è quindi non ho solo studiato: ho lavorato per diverse estati come carpentiere e, durante gli anni universitari, come operatore call center, cameriere e barman.
Vogliamo rispettare i cliché? Sì, sono italiano e amo cucinare; soprattutto amo condividere ciò che preparo, altrimenti mi impegno poco!
Parlo abbastanza bene inglese e tedesco. Potrei affrontare anche una discussione base di spagnolo (non aggiungendo solo la - s alla fine!).
Sono cresciuto con l'hard rock, classical, blues e jazz. Mi piace tanto anche l'industrial techno.
Non saprei davvero cosa altro dire! Spero che io sia la persona che tu stia cercando, altrimenti ti auguro in ogni caso il bene di sto mondo :)

Hello People,
I'm a joyous and cheerful Italian and I'm 28. I’m an authentic Social Animal (Aristotle) and I feed on the social relations. That doesn't mean that I’m not discreet when it’s necessary or that I don’t need some peaceful moments with my multiple personalities (hey, I’m joking!). In a society rules are the guiding light but I think it’s useful, sometimes, to break some of them. That’s not the case of a couchsurfing experience, where the guest has to follow the path negotiated with the host.
Why am I talking like a sociological manual? Let’s start with the boring part! I grew up in Basilicata, an unknown but very beautiful region in the heart of Southern Italy and then, when I was 19, I moved to Rome, where I started my studies in Political Science. During that time, I lived two wonderful university experiences in Germany, first in Dresden and then in Berlin, where I carried out the research for my Master thesis on the contemporary German Extreme Right. After collecting some other academic titles, at the beginning of 2019 I finally won a PhD scholarship: they’re actually paying me to do what I love!
Have I always only studied? (Un)fortunately I come from a not rich/not poor family, therefore I’ve done every kind of work. I worked for three summers as carpenter and I harvested for two months every sort of vegetables. During University I worked as call center operator and, above all, as waiter and barman.
Do we want to respect the cliché? Yeah, I'm Italian and I really like to cook and especially share the dishes I prepare…ask to my lucky various flatmates!
Now I ran out of things to say. That’s a presentation I really didn’t think I was capable to write!
I forgot just two things; even if not to the level I wish, I speak English and German. I’m able to face even a basic conversation in Spanish.
I grew up with hard rock, jazz and classical music. I love (industrial) techno!

Every morning my speakers play techno music but I listen even hard Rock or classical music. I play guitar and a little bit piano and violin. My favorite regisseurs are Monicelli, Fellini, Kubrick and Hitchcock.
I love read, therefore there are enough Italian, English and German books for everyone on my shelf!
