About Me
While my roots Germany, I am one of these wondering souls who has lived more abroad than at home over the past decade.
After my bachelor degree in international relations in Amsterdam, I worked in Brussels for the past two years in the field of international development and migration. Next up is a MSc in the same area at SOAS University of London!
But before this, I am enjoying a long summer where I have the pleasure and privilege to explore Central Asia. Meet you in Kazakhstan or Kyrgyzstan? :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Traveling for me is about getting to know the culture, being in contact with natives and learning about local traditions. Staying with a local person will be the best way to do so... So let's couchsurf :)
Interests
Learning about places, people, politics, tales and the unknown; Preparing some delicious (vegetarian) food; Nature, yoga, climbing and dancing; photography, art, music, and all that jazz...
Music, Movies, and Books
I love to dance to some good electronic beats just as much as sitting around the bonfire and singing some beautiful folk songs. Other than you will most likely find me listening to some indie-pop.
A good book for me should rise my curiosity and should teach me something I didn't know.
As for movies, sadly I always fall asleep...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Trying to cross the Ghanaian-Togolese boarder at a non-official boarder point, turned out to be more adventurous than I initially thought- I’ll tell you more about it in person!
What I Can Share with Hosts
A calm yoga session in the morning, some interesting stories to share, delicious German baked goods, how to ride a bike with two people the Dutch style, and a lot of laughter :)
