About Me

Hi, am a 29- year old med student from Germany and im in the middle of my last year of studies which consists entirely of practical hospital work. I have spent a part of this year in Berlin and have been working in Switzerland (near Luzern) since September. At the moment, I'm in the middle of my last term in Martinique and always eager to learn about the culture and to improve my French (and learn some Créol aswell!)!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think Couchsurfing is a great opportunity to get in touch with locals as well as finding a place to stay if you're on a budget. It's great that nowadays, there are still people who are kind enough to welcome you to their homes without expecting anything in return. I would love to pass this experience on to others as soon as I'll be done with my nomad life next year and have a proper working contract! :)

Interests

I love reading and I'm usually to lazy to do any sports. If i can be motivated, it's usually something not too energetic like hiking, swimming or yoga. When i was still going to uni, i used to own a fish tank and I love any kind of underwater creatures. That's why I took up scuba diving this year and I'm hoping to get a little better during my stay in the Caribbean!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I genuinely think that travelling is the most amazing thing that you can do. I have the impression that especially the long term stays abroad which is was lucky enough to experience have made me the person I am today, and I'm hoping to have many more of these in the future!
