About Me

I am a Marketing Communication student, currently studying at Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Trnava, Slovakia. I graduated my Bachelor degree last year with honors and red diploma. My Bechelor thesis was dealing with Specifics of Neuromarketing and Eyetracking.
During my university years, I am also working as Junior Marketing Specialist at a company called Innovatrics, which creates first-class biometrics.

Throughout my childhood, I grew up with many hobbies resulting in many interests I have now.
Since I can remember, I trained gymnastics and finally became the Vice-Champion of Slovak Republic at 17. I considered that my retirement (haha). After that I met my now boyfriend of 8 years, who introduced me to rock climbing and bouldering. So, many of the gymnastic tricks were really useful :D. After that, we became certified PADI scuba divers and so we started exploring the world under the surface :).

Growing up, I was always connected to art in any form. I joined drama club, started singing and performing with a kids choir. After that I eventually joined more professional one - Cambiar la Musica. I had the best time and I cherish memories from those concerts until now. We even toured Slovakia and Czechia with another popular rock band as their lead performer.
I also started creating digital art, which is very dear to me till this day. I once hope to become illustrator of some sorts but, one step at a time :).

This September, I am starting my Erasmus studies in Riga, Latvia. I am planning on working on my Master's thesis, which will probably be about Metaverse.

PHILOSOPHY
To take a minute a realize how lucky I am.
I truly see that even in the smallest details. I am just grateful for it.

And by the luck I mean such things as meeting a generous old lady in an empty village who provided us with full breakfast after fox took all of our food when camping overnight, haha.
Also, things like having just the right questions on exams and then receiving merit scholarship each year.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Looking to meet adventurous souls across the world.
I believe there’s nothing more valuable, than connecting with locals while traveling. I am sure that Couchsurfing can help me find those ones.

Since my teen age, I realized the value of traveling - how it changes your perspective and opens your eyes wider. Suddenly, you realize what a small particle you are in this world.

I want to expand that perspective.

Music, Movies, and Books

I’m really into anything that gives the vibe and pure and honest energy. I cherish artists who go deeper and who let listeners think about what they are hearing. I love finding small details, finding the climax of the songs, finding background vocals... To sum it up, if it is a great song - I love it :D. Doesn't matter the genre. It can be the entire album of Harry's House or even Northern Light by Ola Gjeilo.

Also, I never know how to answer these type of questions but I can definitely say I just LOVE love The Office (American version). I could talk about that for hours. The performance, the acting with minimum muscle movement, the evolution of characters, the realness of it all..

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I became the Vice-Champion of Slovak Republic in Gymnastics!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can (try) to teach you sing like a trumpet! :D I recently found out I can do it during the time I was preparing for my state exam, when I started to go insane :D. Maybe something like my hidden talent, it's pretty funny. But I can also teach you about the culture of our country, what our traditions are, how is our nature like or tell you anything more about what you found interesting in my profile.

As for the learn part, I like to just sit quietly and listen. Tell me what you know, where you have been, what have you experienced during you travels and in your life. I cherish times sitting down with my grandpa while listening to his stories. As we are living far from each other, this does not happen often. But when our family meets, that is my favorite part of it.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A small present that is nice and also very much practical! And it also has some cultural meaning to it.

And I don't mind helping out, so if you need a hand, just let me know :)
