About Me

I live in Freetown with an NGO helping kids with disabilities. I have good interpersonal skills and enjoy to stay among people. Open mind in every context. Great lover of travel, music (in particular ethnic), photography, cinema, documentaries.
Civil service in Mozambique and Erasmus experience in Turkey.
I have excellent interpersonal skills to interact with multiethnic realities, excellent adaptation to different and also complicated situations and social and cultural contexts.
My dream would be to work as an anthropologist, sharing with lesser-known but more authentic tribes, visiting less accessible tourist destinations.
Very passionate of traveling (WANDERLUST addicted), music (particularly ethnic), photography, cinema, documentaries and sports (I played basketball for 9 years, 2 years football and I was a swimming istructor).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love visiting new cities, in particular if I have the possibility to know the people where is living there and the different aspects of the city. And it could also be a possibility to share with the hosts different cultural and social aspects. I also love to share small moments of normal life to try to figure out how other people lives out of my country and my home. I love to attend traditional folk festivals, traditional ceremonies.

Interests

I visited almost all European countries and different countries in Africa (Mozambique, Malawi, Botswana, Namibia, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Morocco, Senegal).

Years of volunteering service by collaborating with various associations I still belong to:
- cooperative onlus "NOI", social inclusion for disadvantaged people, as vice-president;
- Onlus "A Different Proposal", of international solidarity, as a member of the leadership and their reference for the project "Ponti" (project for social and economic inclusion of young people and women, innovation and diaspora) in Senegal where I went to March 2017 with CIPSI President Guido Barbera on a visit to represent, monitor and renew local partnerships.
- "Caritas", as a volunteer for the homeless.
- I have also been for several summer educators / animators with children and teenagers at summer centers and campgrounds

What I Can Share with Hosts
