About Me
Current Situation:
I recently quit a 10 year accounting position that deteriorated my life in so many ways but I didn't see for a very long time. I guess those things build as you grow and learn more about yourself. Then i served tables for a couple months but it wasn't satisfying (it was only supposed to be a transitional easy money maker but nope).
I am ready to make new friends, share new experiences, grow, learn, and gain perspectives that I haven't given myself the chance to do YET.
I've always wanted to travel but never knew about the numerous ways to do so in a non-commercial way. I did some research since being unemployed and I'm ready to embark on some new journeys. I have an open mind and an open schedule.
I have always been one of those people that has trouble making choices and never had a clear future. Never had that Ah-Ha moment and went for it. I believe that's why I never finished school. I couldn't decide. If I knew I would have it.
What I'm passionate about:
Live music
Laughter and story telling
Connecting with open minded people
Food and farming
Sustainable living and decluttering life in general
Seeing as much as i can in this life
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm here to explore, create, and learn. I want to hang out with locals and enjoy a low key type of traveling while truly learning what people do in different cities or countries.
I don't have the ability to let others stay with me YET. That's something I'm working on. I live in a very nice area of DT orlando (Thornton Park) but my 1 bedroom is small and has been over cluttered for a long time now. I'm in the middle of making it couchserfer ready!!!
Interests
I love food and music and laughing and boating and sunshine and trying new things. I want to learn. I also want to teach. :) If there's something I can offer I find pleasure giving it.
I am exploring local farming and sustainable living and trying to be a LOT more conscious of consumerism and our wasteful way of life.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music:
EVERYTHING (almost) but it depends on the mood and location. Live can always get me going though.
Movies:
I'm a bit of a Marvel junky but I love comedy and chick flicks and action and pretty much anything inspiring. I watch a TON of Ted Talks "Ideas worth spreading" or "brain hacks" . I love those.
Books:
I'm not a big reader only because it gives me bad headaches (long story) but i recently started reading "More or Less" Choosing a Lifestyle of Excessive Generosity.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Won tickets to Amsterdam on the radio station! Also won a Bud Light Party Cruise and other things...I have a tendency to win things. BUT i know that winning is only a combination of effort and attendance. :) People don't understand that.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: I can cook polish food and I can offer some laughter because I make fun of myself a lot. I'm silly.
Learn: Any and all things. I would love to learn to sail-surf (what's that called? lol) and I want to get into slack lining. I have done it but only like 2 times. I want to do it all over the world.
Share: I share everything. If you need something I have and don't need consider it yours.
