I'm the result of a cultural mix between a woman from the interior and a man from the Colombian shore and that's why I have grown up in very different cultural environments that have taught me to appreciate the wealth that diversity hides. I consider myself a person with an open mind and heart willing to learn from anyone who wants to teach me. I like learning a lot and I've learned to take advantage of opportunities to travel hand in hand with what I like the most.

Soy el resultado de una mezcla cultural entre una mujer del interior y un hombre de la costa colombiana y por eso he  crecido en ambientes culturales muy diferentes que me han enseñado a apreciar la riqueza que esconde la diversidad. Me considero una persona con la mente y el corazón abierto dispuesta a aprender de todo el que me quiera enseñar.  Me gusta mucho aprender y he aprendido a aprovechar las oportunidades para viajar de la mano de lo que más me gusta.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm here because I believe that in order to know the world, it's not enough just to travel through it, it's necessary to share with those who live there. As a daughter of two lovers of travelling I have had the opportunity to travel arround  part of the world with my family, nevertheless for some years I have begun to draw my own way to know the world in my way always believing that the best way to learn from a culture is to share with people who have grown up in it.

Estoy aquí porque creo que para conocer el mundo no solo hace falta recorrerlo, es necesario compartir con quienes habitan en él. Como hija de unos amantes del viaje, he tenido la oportunidad de recorrer una parte del mundo de la mano de mi familia, sin embargo desde hace unos años he empezado a trazar mi propio camino para conocer el mundo a mi manera creyendo siempre que la mejor manera de aprender de una cultura es compartiendo con las personas que han​ crecido en ellas.

Since I've memory I've always been interested in expressions of art, I like to learn new techniques of arts and crafts and concerts the different manifestations that it has in the world.

Music, Movies, and Books

Basically I enjoy any kind of music, movie or book. I believe that from them we can learn and discover messages for our lives and that's why i gives me the opportunity to listen, see or read what comes to my way. I value much more those who are loaded with history and culture of a region because I believe that through these we can also discover the world.

Básicamente disfruto de cualquier tipo de música, película o libro. Creo que de ellos podemos aprender y descubrir mensajes para nuestra vida y por eso me doy la oportunidad de escuchar, ver o leer aquello que se me presente en el camino. Valoro mucho más aquellos que están cargados de historia y cultura de una región pues creo que a través de estos también podemos descubrir el mundo.

I think life is full of incredible things, now for example I think the most incredible thing I've done is going to live and study in another country. I think when we are away from home we learn to recognize in the world those little places where we feel ourselves

Creo la vida está llena de cosas increíbles, ahora por ejemplo creo que de lo más increíble que he hecho es irme a vivir y a estudiar a otro país. Creo que cuando se está lejos de casa aprendemos a reconocer en el mundo esos pequeños lugares en donde nos sentimos nosotros mismos

As industrial designer I'm passionate about  arts and crafts so I can teach my experience with watercolor painting, ceramics, woodworking and polymers. I can also teach Spanish and my culture. I would like to learn from different cultures and have new experiences.

Cómo diseñadora industrial me apasionan las artes manuales y puedo enseñar de mi experiencia con la pintura en acuarela, cerámica, trabajo en madera y polímeros. También  puedo enseñar español y sobre mi cultura. Me gustaria aprender de diferentes culturas y tener nuevas experiencias.
