Overview
About Me
I am an ambitious, enterprising and traveller.
I have lived alone since I was 19, studied abroad and have always supported myself financially, working or through university scholarships.
I am an evangelical Christian.
I have a very solid relationship with my family and siblings (I have three sisters and a brother), and great friends. I am extremely respectful of the cultures and customs of my hosts. I have learnt this through the many times I have lived abroad, sharing spaces with roommates or friends.
I am really clean and tidy, I almost always travel in backpacking mode, so quite minimal.
I make my bed every morning, even on holiday.
I was a scout for nine years.
Sorry if I wrote a lot, thank you if you took the time to read!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
For two main reasons: one is the willingness to host travellers in my city in Italy. My family is extremely welcoming and my parents are even trying to learn English, so there will be no barriers of any kind.
The second reason is as a traveller, because I am a guy who loves backpacking and I strongly believe in the fact that you can visit a country also and above all if you know the local people and their traditions.
Interests
I don't think I've listed all my interests, but mainly I like listening to music (a little bit of all genres, although I listen a little bit to trap and rock), I'm very sporty, I used to play volleyball in the B league, I really like chess, board games, draughts, card games,. I also used to play backgammon, but I should refresh the rules ahahahah.
I read self-improvement books, autobiographies of entrepreneurs and books on climate change.
I like hiking and camping.
Music, Movies, and Books
I love films that leave their mark, both emotionally and in terms of teaching. Among my favourite films are Interstellar, A Miracle from Heaven and Life is Beautiful.
I listen to music of all genres and international. I have pleasantly discovered that every country has wonderful hits, sometimes better than those that go viral worldwide!
I read quite a bit, usually books on entrepreneurship or personal growth, I listen to a lot of podcasts and audio books. I love street photography and I can't wait to keep with my camera Singaporean life moments.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The one I like to tell the most is about the time I crossed a theoretically frozen lake at 2am with a French friend of mine in Lapland on cross-country skis; a crazy experience I will never forget ahahah
Teach, Learn, Share
Having been fortunate enough to be able to travel a lot, I certainly have many interesting stories to tell. I am a person who really likes to chat and discuss things constructively, open to any kind of discourse: I am a bit of a political hack, but I am very up-to-date on current affairs!
I am a dreamer, and I always travel with my head on how to create the ideas that come to me in the shower.
I am always ready to learn and listen to people's life stories.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am Italian, and I cook very well in my opinion. So no doubt there will be no shortage of delicious pasta and risotto dishes! I am very tidy, so I will happily do the house cleaning. And of course any support will be happily reciprocated whenever my new friends want to come to Italy!
