About Me

I'm Andrea, I come from Ragusa, a beautiful city in Sicily (Italy). Currently I live in Warsaw on Erasmus+ exchange programme. I enjoy playing the Guitar, especially bass guitar. I was once part of some bands back at home. I relish playing basketball with friends, cooking and eating together, seeing new places and of course, meeting new people and getting to learn new things!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My friends recommended me to use CouchSurfing because I'm a person who's open-minded and love interacting with people and exchanging cultures. Getting a chance with couchsurfers will open myself into a new world, where I get to learn something I've never come across and give me a chance to show something from my life and culture.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: italian songwriters such as Fabrizio de André, Francesco Guccini, Pino Daniele and international ones like Eric Clapton. Moreover I also love listening to jazz & blues music cause they make me relaxed.
Movies: I love action packed entertainers and sometimes horror ones.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was younger once I jumped from a cliff 15 meters high, into the sea. The first time I was afraid of that, but then I loved it and repeated several times.

When I was 15 once the police almost caught me without helmet protection on my scooter and I had very long hair at that time. To make sure I escaped this offense the next day I cropped my hair, it was a very adventurous as well as funny (I felt bad about cutting my hair). It's one amazing thing, right?

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach to properly cook pasta, the sicilian way and maybe some chords on the guitar. I would like to learn new languages and get to know new places. I can share my culture, cuisine and a nice conversation indeed.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I could offer to cook italian food, have a jam session and try to play music together! I wouldn't mind a nice conversation because at the end it's always good to get to know new people, right?
