I'm a musician and a university student. I like to do what I want, even if I chose a difficult and underpaid path in my life I'm proud of it and couldn't do anything else. I love music, wich represent a big part of my life. I like jazz expecially but I'm also a big fan of reggae, ska and old school hip hop. As a musician I have to keep an open mind about music, so I generally like everything done with passion and knowledge. I study philosophy, I like to read and learn every day. I love to study the "consciousness" subject and everything related to math, physics and science. I'm a movie fanatic! During the last years I watched at least 3 or 4 movies a week. Sometimes I watch 2 or 3 movies in a day. Lately I'm developing a deep interest for chess. I also love to play basketball and watch the NBA. When I go out I like to drink and talk. I could talk for hours with my friends, I just love to communicate and hear different opinions on everything. Sometimes I may sound a little arrogant, but if you get to know me you'll see I'm also extremely self-critic and I love to laugh about myself.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'd like to meet new people from all over the world. I'm interested in cultures, languages and different way of thinking. It's really strange how sometimes you can feel close to people that are born and live in a distant and totally different environment.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to all kind of music, but I like expecially jazz, ska and hip hop. I have a bunch of favourite bands that don't play this kind of music, such as Tool, Rage Against The Machine, Morphine and others. I also like electronic music, if made with skills and musical knowledge. I hate almost all commercial songs.

I have some favourite directors that I look to: John Carpenter, Terry Gilliam, Andrej Tarkovskij, Quentin Tarantino, George Romero, Sergio Leone, Elio Petri, Nanni Moretti, Stanley Kubrick, John Landis, David Cronenberg, Akira Kurosawa, Federico Fellini, Takeshi Kitano and Park Chan-wook. And I could continue!

I love all the science fiction, movies and literature, and I litteraly love dystopia. My favourite writers are Philip K. Dick, Isaac Asimov, Aldous Huxley and George Orwell, while my favourite books are Dune, The man in the high castle, Brave New World and 1984.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach some musical stuff, talk about philosophy and its relation with science today. I watched a lot of movies and I have a good memory, so maybe I'll get you to know some film you'll love for the rest of your life.
