About Me

Hello Couch Surfers! I am Peruvian, but have been living in Boynton Beach, FL most of my life now. I'm a lover of the outdoors. Working next to the beach hasn't stop me from visiting it regularly. I am always looking for new nature trails, wildlife preserves or just pretty landscapes to get away to. I want to learn, see and do as much as I can while I'm here.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've always loved seeing new places and meeting new people, but just recently actually started venturing out. I've always been drawn to nature, especially the water having lived next to it for so long. Now I want to discover mountains, desserts, and all there is to know outside of my flat, ocean side Florida lifestyle. Hopefully our paths will meet on one of our adventures :D

Interests

Meeting new nature lovers, dancing!, going out with friends, making people laugh, kayaking, going on trails, running, concerts, music festivals, getting sun, going to the beach, eating yummy food, & most of all - discovering new places :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I hate to be cliche, but I literally listen to almost everything except maybe bluegrass and (very) heavy metal.
I don't read as much as I'd like to, but when I do it's usually varied material, so not sure I have a favorite genre.
Really liked scary movies since I was little.
Comedies are always fun too :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Just gonna say the first thing that came to mind - Jumped into the river from a rope swing in El Yunque, Puerto Rico.
Only rain forest in the United States :)

Teach, Learn, Share

Coworkers and even friends now started calling me sunshine because of my happy, go lucky attitude. So this quote hits close to home - "Wherever you go, no matter what the weather, always bring your own sunshine!"

Trying to learn Portuguese! Help, anyone?

What I Can Share with Hosts

A little bit about my Peruvian culture, nice places to visit in Florida, and my endless mission to spread positivity.
