About Me

Lover of good food and drinks, bicycle rides, casual strolls, and intellectually stimulating conversations. I'm a pretty relaxed person but could be convinced to go out on the town. Very clean and courteous, thoughtful of others and happy to cook you dinner or help with whatever you need :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Looking to connect with kind strangers and see new cities from a local's perspective. I will be traveling for about 2 months and hostels add up quickly, looking to save money while also making new friends.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music - I like a little bit of everything, my favorites include classic rock, alternative/indie, and soul (I blame my boyfriend for making me obsessed with 80s music). The Arctic Monkeys, Lorde, Leon Bridges, Bombay Bicycle Club, Jack Johnson, Hozier, Pink Floyd, Led Zepplin, The Beatles, Marvin Gaye, Sade, Prince, Michael Jackson

Movies - to be honest I fall asleep during movies a lot, more of a Netflix series or cooking channel kind of gal. Some of the TV shows I enjoy are Portlandia, Master of None, Stranger Things, Game of Thrones, Chefs Table, Good Eats, Ugly Delicious, Parts Unknown.

Books - I've always had a hard time sitting still long enough to read a book. Recently discovered a love for poetry during my last few months of university.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I recently finished my first triathlon in early May 2018.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know how to brew beer/cider/kombucha if you want to learn how to ferment things. I love to play rummy (card game) and will gladly teach you how to play. I worked in a brewery for the last year and know a good amount about various beer styles if you are interested in beer or pairing food and beer together.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love to cook for people and am great at cleaning and organizing if you need a little help around the house :)

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, Cambodia, Costa Rica, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Hungary, Iceland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Laos, Peru, Philippines, Spain, Sweden, Thailand, Viet Nam

Countries I’ve Lived In

Thailand, United States
