About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Building on ethical revolution in the cosmetics industry

ABOUT ME

I grew up and my dream came true, I have a professional job that allows me to be nomadic. I also love what I do as I've always been passionate about environmental sustainability and ethical causes my whole life and having a job where I feel like I am working towards resolving some of those issues is greatly rewarding. I oversee projects in Uganda, Peru and Guatemala, so I'm often bouncing around continents. When not working, I'm busy with friends and family, dinners, drinks and doing whatever sports I can in the area i find myself, surfing, kitesurfing, yoga anything goes!

PHILOSOPHY

This to shall pass........

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

It's a great way to meet people and have the opportunity to experience the culture and area as they know it. I enjoy long conversations and learning about peoples perspectives on the world and where they live.

Interests

Meeting new people and sharing experiences. I've spent most of my life abroad and am continually learning and embracing such experiences.

I like to be active and recently started surfing and kitesurfing. I love my bike (s) and am an avid cyycler- both urban and long distance. I practice yoga daily and am trying to mediate more often.

I enjoy food (vegan) from around the world, with a nice glass of wine!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It's too hard to narrow it down to one! Here are a few of my favs:

Cycled solo in southern Myanmar
Ran 2 marathons
Gave up my apartment last year and have been a nomad for a year
Convinced the company I work for to purchase a 2,000ha concession in the Amazon

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach yoga, make excellent vegan food with limited ingredients! I can tell you all about the crazy world of supply chains and the terrible environmental and social impacts from unchecked commodity sourcing.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my love for vegan cooking and philosophy, share my yoga practice and I always have a lot of cosmetics from the company I work for so can introduce you to cool things like toothpaste tabs. And if all those fail a bottle of wine is a good go to :)

Countries I’ve Visited
