About Me
Hey! My name is Andrea, but people call me Andie!
I've been living in Jerusalem for a few years now, and have spent as much of my adult life as humanly possible living out of my backpack and carrying my Canon camera around.
I'm a graduate student in law, a professional destination wedding photographer, and an avid traveler! (P.S. one of my favorite ways to thank my hosts is to take pictures of them, so prepare yourself for an epic new profile picture). I thrive on meeting new people and I'm cerebral and am love consuming new books. Right now I'm learning about critical art theory and I am wholeheartedly obsessed with museums - let's chaaaat.
I studied political science and theology in my undergraduate degree, so we can talk gnosticism, metaphysics, critical race theory or anything in between.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Currently on CS in September/October 2019 because I've got one month of freedom before starting my pre-PhD coursework, so Eastern Europe, here I come (backpacking/hitchhiking/couch surfer version!). Can't wait to meet new people! P.S. I would love to return the favor and host you in my house in the Old City of Jerusalem :)

Music, Movies, and Books
An avid Lumineers and Reggaeton fan.
Could watch Inception one million times because it will always make me think.
I read books like Cultural Intelligence and plays like Arcadia for fun. Black holes amaze me.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In college, my friends and I would fondly call it the "California challenge": wake up and hit the slopes for a couple runs of skiing at Mammoth and Yosemite mountains at sunrise and then hit the famous Rincon point for sunset surfing at sunset.
