I am a child of the 80's born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah where I currently reside. I have lived eight years in southern California and two in upstate New York.

Despite being an engineer I do like being social and being around people. :-) (If you are into nerdy science however we can discuss.) I have a fun sense of humor and am easy-going and respectful. I am responsible but like to let my hair down and have fun.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Looking to get out and see more of the world. I like the idea of meeting up with people in the places I visit to get the local’s experience and make friends.

Interests

Being active, exploring, music, art and culture. In the warm weather you will find me hiking and going out with friends to restaurants, bars and events in the city. In the winter I go skiing and snowmobiling. I have traveled some in the western U.S. but want to see more of the states and travel abroad.

Movies: Blade Runner, Star Trek: First Contact, The Wrath of Khan, the remake and Into Darkness

Music: Gorillaz, Massive Attack, Muse, Patsy Cline, Corey Harris, The The, Rachmaninoff, Barber and Copeland.

Books: Traditional literature, Steinbeck is my favorite.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spent a week in Oahu Hawaii relaxing on the beaches.

A couple of interests that I enjoy sharing and learning from other people are food, music (I am a former pianist), yoga and meditation. I have a curiosity for life and new experiences.
