I'm Andrea, from Italy and I'm travelling with my partner Agnese (this is her CS profile https://www.couchsurfing.com/people/fluxuse) and my son Dario (5y/o). We run a Permaculture farm in Calabria where we have been hosting over 100 volunteers in the last 4 years to set up a subtropical food forest (look our profile in workaway https://www.workaway.info/en/host/878511151717). Now we would like to explore more Australia and give Dario the chance to met children from other countries.

Andrea has a double degree in cognitive psychology and medicine, but almost left the doctor career to follow his passions: nature, sea, music and travelling. In the past he worked as sound engineer and stage manager in Music festivals (audio/electricity skills) and turned an abandoned land into a Food Forest totally self financing the project from products of the land (food forest design skills, farming skills, specialised in pruning citrus). Lately he fall in love with the sea world: he love windsurfing, diving and recently he took a sailing licence and worked as skipper in sail boats.

Agnese is a librarian, share her time doing stuff togheter, cooking, spend time at the vegetable garden. She loves also natural building!

Dario is a sunny little man 5 y/o. He loves dancing, running, escavators, smiling and can lift much more than daddy.

Be Dario's Dad, Living in harmony with people and nature, Explore the world, spread and share positive vibration, save the world, grow vegetables, sharing the life with wonderful people. Become an oceanic skipper.

ABOUT ME (my story in details from my previous couchsurfing life, probably not so interested skip if in a hurry :)

Born in Reggio Calabria (south Italy) I move to Roma when I was 18 to study Cognitive Psycology and Medicine but overall to experience the capital. At the same time also studied Sound Engeenering and start working as sound man since 2009. I spent 12 years in Rome studying, working, enjoying free parties and friends when I realize it was the time to change life, seeking for more nature, music and travel in my life. At the end of October 2014 I made happen my dream of a long trip and I bought a one way ticket to Australia. After one month in Sydney I start living in an awesome camper van, visiting all the coast from Brisbane to Melbourne, working as sound engineer and enjoying Ozzy festivals like Confest and Yemaya ..then I drove from Melbourne through Australian outback up to Darwin ! 24 October 2015 UPDATE: I'm in Darwin with my girlfriend, we sold the campervan and are ready to explore south east Asia. Tomorrow we'll fly to Bali!

Follow passions, listen to mind and body needs to experience a good life. Wellness is global, so seeking for social justice, respect of nature and human beings is the best way for a deep global happiness.
Education and awareness are the strongest weapons to make a better world and CS is a powerful tool for education too: we can learn each other and see how the world really is not just what media show us :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I knew couch surfing because one of my best friend is using it since many years and I think it's really a great tool to connect people and travel connected with the true spirit of a country!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hosted and surfed many times in the last 20 years using direct personal contacts or Couchsurfing and right now is going great! I used al lot in Australia and south east asia and I hosted travellers at my place as well.

兴趣

I travelled through Europe, especially west part, and have been to Cuba, Canada, Perù, Australia and South East Asia. I studied Cognitive Psychology and Medicine mainly for my personal culture and interest and I'm really fascinated by the human brain and mind! I love to stay in the middle of nothing surrounding by trees or sound waves but I can enjoy crowded music festival and big cities. I love doing things with my hand, campervan life, camping, audio engineering, play percussions, bass, guitar.
