Overview
About Me
I am a curious person and always open to learn from other cultures.
I like good food and Japanese tea, exotic places, music of all kind, exploring the world and my own city, empathic people, a good laugh, skating and sleeping. And so much more that I can't decide what else to mention - oh yes, taking pictures:

Unfortunately I cannot host guests.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It's simple: I love travelling, but I don't like hotels. I am a sociable person and prefer personal contacts to anonymity. My aim is to dig deeply into every country's culture, which is made best by making friends and mingling with locals as much as possible. I cherish the warmth of people who host me and whom I host so much more than the cold atmosphere and the rules in hotels. Since my childhood I have always been keen on learning languages and very interested in getting to know different cultures and their people. We are all part of this beautiful world, we might be different in some aspects, but in the end we are all the same - we are all humans and we have so much to share and to learn from each other!

Music, Movies, and Books
I love reading novels (good ones, like nobel prize winners ;-) ), books about art, culture, spirituality etc. The movies I watch are most likely Arthouse movies, the ones you see at festivals. I love many kinds of music, from Salsa to Techno and classical, including classical Persian and Indian music. I am very curious to discover all kind of arts and also music - I have an ability to feel it, even though unfortunately I never learned to play an instrument.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I helped a Cuban friend with Mexican roots to obtain the Mexican passport in Cuba while I was in Germany. It was very a complicated, sometimes frustrating procedure and required the help of friends in Mexico and Germany. After 1,5 years the document was finally handed out.
