About Me

I grew up in Zaragoza, Spain, and came to Paris 8 years ago to study at university. I studied at Sciences Po, political and social sciences school, and Philosophy at the University of Sorbonne - don't imagine the building ancient building all tourists visit when they come, I was in another campus all the way up north, the ceiling of our classrooms almost falling on our heads. Very soon sustainable development became a very important issue for me, and I worked with the Earth Charter International Secretariat in Costa Rica for 5 months, and then doing Corporate Social Responsibility in a public agency in Paris.
I am a musician, singer and pianist / guitarist-on-the-making. I have studied classical music, jazz and other modern music genres in different schools, like at Tulane University in New Orleans, where I lived for a year. I also worked on the "other side" of the music scene, organizing concerts at La Villette in Paris. Now I am working on developing several music projects. I am always happy to share with other musicians and learn from them !
My core concern today is how arts and culture may have a bigger impact on social, environmental and political issues. I have created a company with my associate Luca, called Why Stories: a laboratory for artists to research, learn and create stories (in theatre, literature, music, cinema, public speeches, journalism, communication...) that are impactful. It's been a tough but fantastic time. I can tell you more about this when we meet ;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My boyfriend is what I call an expert couchsurfer, having travelled with couchsurfing almost exclusively for a long time. And of course he has convinced me to become one as well. This is how he describes his contribution to Couchsurfing: "By telling everybody about CS... and compelling them to sign in". So there you go !

I am on couchsurfing because I give a great importance to meeting the people who live in the places I visit, as a way of better knowing its habits, ways of doing and being, and best insights of course ! Encounters can be fantastic and enriching experiences, and I am very keen on sharing with you what I love, what I do, what I eat, what I enjoy about travelling.
