About Me

When I was 18, I left my hometown and started my hectic and nomadic life, finding always great excuses to study and work around the world.
The most influencing life experiences were when I lived in Italy, India, Nepal and Brunei.

Now, after 10 years, I'm back to my lovely and beautiful Spezia, where I'm particularly tied and proud of.

I settled at my new home, in the hills just outside the city. I'm simply in love with it.

My adaptive and flexible attitude always allowed me to overcome the challenges I purposely had to face :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet humans I would never meet otherwise.
CS connected me to a few inspiring and fascinating persons.

I barely ask to get hosted. Tho I hosted people in at least 10 different cities.

PS
Yes, I receive many different requests so I have the benefit to set some (fake) requirements.
In general:
- I host MAINLY solo travelers
- I prefer humans that are on long trips and do unconventional routes
- Not ordinary people are very welcome
- I probably won't answer to standardize requests and requests for more than 2 people

Interests

Earth and its nature really fascinates me.
I truly admire the diversity which makes this world so rich and beautiful.

Natural diversity but also cultural diversity. Exploring them is one the meaning of my life. But sometimes I feel overwhelmed by the greatness of this job.

Sometimes I need to escape from the mass and find shelter on my own loneliness; sometimes I feel good enjoying the energy of people. I realize how fascinated I am by some not-ordinary-human beings. And some other animals too.

Mountains, outdoor related activities, camping and dangerous activities is mainly what keeps me alive.

For the rest, I drink very good tea I personally buy around the world, read lots of books and meditate on a daily basis.

Music, Movies, and Books

Three books that changed my perspective of life:
- Seven years in Tibet
- Shantaram
- Sapiens

How thankful I am to these guys.

The music I listen to is mood dependind, but I have to say nobody is able to give me such good vibes like Bob Dylan or Sixto Rodriguez.

Movies? I'd like to have a deeper understanding of cinema but my knowledge is so poor

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I love solo travels, some of the crazy experiences I had were in Nepal, where I climbed solo in Annapurna area

Or doing a 4 months trip on foot from the north to the south of Italia was pretty cool.

Can't forget also the solo hike through the tropical jungle of Borneo.

Teach, Learn, Share

I don't have much to teach. Only something to learn and to share.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Positivity and a good conversations in front of a wonderful tea. Then? Let's get out and have fun.

If I can I'd like to spend time with guests and show them my favorite places, which they always love :)
tho I sometimes can be busy and off limits

My home is outside the city and independently is not super easy to move. I'll try my best to pick you up and down the hills ;)
