ABOUT ME

I am a passionate of life. I think that we should live every day the best we can and enjoy every second of it. I studied Chemical Engineer in Tecnologico de Monterrey in Monterrey, now I am traveling in Europe, because I will study a master at VUB in Brussels and I will stay here at least one year. I am very tolerant and patient and a coffe lover. I do not smoke, and I do not drink a lot, but I love to go out to discos, a bar other a nice place where I can talk with the person I am with. I also love to walk, I think is the best way to know a city and I am used to spend hours walking. I considered myself a good friend and a fun person, my friends say they can make me laugh very easily, but it is just beacuse I love doing it. I speak Spanish, English, German, a little French and Italian, I also love food, but I do not like to cook haha. I love to travel also and learning from every person I know during my life.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is just one, so live it the best you can and never regret of something you have done, I think every experience in our life teaches us something and helps us to be a better person.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Nowadays I do not live in Mexico City where I am originary from, and I do not have still a definitive place to live in Brussels so I am not able to receive people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had great experiences doing couch surfing, I will be doing this as long as I can. Couch surfing has changed my perspective of people around the world.

Interests

I love to dance, I danced Ballet for 15 years and then Flamenco, I love to know people and spend time with myself. I do not watch TV, but I love going to the cinema, I think is one of the best arts on the planet. I also like to know new cultures and people, I think that we get richer every time we know different opinions and the way of living of other people around the world.

I love talking, my mom has been a very good listener all my life and as I know to listen to people I also like to talk and be listened. I think this is the only way we get to know others and also myself.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love cinema, I love to watch Disney and drama films. I like a lot of movies but some movies that have made my life remarkable are The Shining, The Lord of the Rings, Moulin Rouge, The Beauty and the Beast, Matchpoint...
I also love reading, but I have not yet a favorite author or a favorite book, I need to keep reading during my life to get to know the best one for me. Now I can say Michelangelo from Irving Stone is one of my favorites I have read so far.
I also love any kind of music, but my favorite singer is Shakira.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most impressive moments of my life was the moment when I left my home, I needed to go to Monterrey to study, and maybe all the first year of my career was very hard for me. Leaving my family and learn how to live alone was not very easy for a mexican girl of 18 years old, but now I do not regret any moment and I am glad I made one of the best choices of my life.

Also a very special moment was when I knew that I was coming to Germany to study for one year, this is a huge opportunity for me, not only because of coming here, but to learn German, getting to know different people, different cultures, and all the experiences I am going to have during this year.
