ABOUT ME

I'm a Bachelor of New Media Arts student majoring in Graphic Design. I hope to have a successful and interesting career in the industry and would love to eventually teach it. I've lived in a few cities around Australia but now live in Townsville with my partner and our growing brood of chickens. I love to meet new people, try new foods and want to further explore my horizons and travel.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first CouchSurfing experience was in New York and Montreal with my sister just recently. We met and stayed with some amazing people that were really passionate about their city and the concept of CouchSurfing, which made me want to become involved.

Interests

Digital media, graphics, drawing, reading, travel (both overseas and in Australia), the beach, hiking, running, cooking, food, wine, socialising with friends and family, meeting new people and a love for animals and the simple things in life.

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't really get into movies too much, anything with Denzel Washington, Tom Hanks or Dustin Hoffman.
Australian rock, RHCP, Flight of the Conchords, The Killers, Muse, Fun, Foo Fighters, Coldplay, U2, Birds of Tokyo, Black Eyed Peas.
Books, I really enjoy reading autobiographies/biographies, non fiction and am a sucker for those Harry Potter books too.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Shark diving in Sydney, Australia. The sharks were pretty docile and it was in an aquarium but it was still cool!

Teach, Learn, Share

I really hope to become more involved with the CouchSurfing community and that my travels from now on will be that more enlightened because of this and meeting great people. I also hope I can teach people about Australian life and convince people to take the long trek and visit this wonderful country!
