About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Learning from every person I meet, every place I visit and every moment I live.

ABOUT ME

I'm not the sweetest person, but i'm not the toughest one, too. Just need some time to feel comfortable - it usually doesn't take too much - and I can assure you i'm a very good companion.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I like walk and talk about what is live in those places I am showing to someone or visiting. I think the way I can participate in the couchsurfing experience is sharing my travelling experiences with others.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I met some CS people around the world. I had two roommates in Paris that were couchsurfing all around Europe and they had a wonderful experience with it. I also met a french guy who was my friend's CS friend,
and it was very nice, too. Many of my friends are couchsurfers, too. I want to try a couch somewhere in the world, maybe here in Brazil, as a first experience... And I wish I could offer mine, but for now it is not possible!

Interests

Pretty much everything... I'm a listener! As I said, the thing I think is the most interesting asset on the couchsurfing experience is the possibility of learning about the city/place you visit from other persons experiences and perceptions.

I am interesting in hearing what people think is most important or cool about their cities: a vivid musical scene, literature, arts (in museums or in the streets), cinema... architecture! History... human behaviors (watching people walking around). And, of course, I'm pretty much interested in soccer, sports in a general way, and getting to know the local traditions in terms of pubs, bars and nightlife!

Music, Movies, and Books

Quite ecletic when it comes to dance, but to listen I usually prefer rock - in all its classifications and subdivisions. Beatles, of course, Rolling Stones, Dilan, Eric Clapton, The Velvet Underground, Radiohead... Nina Simone, Nico, Cat Power... Brazilian Old school Samba singers... Blues (Howlin' Wolf specially)and bossa nova... A lot, lot, of pop music. And a lot of things that are not here.

In literature, I like to explore.

In talking about movies, I'm pretty much about Hollywood old classics, musicals, comedies and dramas (Elia Kazan, genious Billy Wilder). I have some problems with the french cinema... I do prefer German, spanish or argentinian, brazilian style.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm not much of an explorer, but I think waking up everyday and facing the world - no matter where! - is the most amazing thing that can be done! C'mon, life is amazing!

Teach, Learn, Share

What I can share is the only thing I that I can't leave behind: experiences I lived and what I learned with them, and how they got me to where I am now and how they make me see the world the way I see it now.

I wish to learn about other persons experiences - it doesn't matter if they are the same as mine or different from it. I do believe that's the only way to grow as a human being in this crazy big world...
